As well as selling at farmers markets and by mail order we also have our own butcher’s shop in beautiful Tideswell in the heart of the Peak District.
Don’t expect this to be a regular butchers shop!
We prepare and sell all our own meat from the shop. Hence we only “have what we have on the day”
We do work with other small scale farmers who believe in grass fed goodness and rear other rare breed animals. They may not be organically certified, but they believe in sustainable farming methods. We can tell you exactly where every piece of meat that is offered for sale comes from!
All the animals are slow grown and hence are ready for our meal tables when they are ready…
We aim to supply fresh chicken twice a month, fresh pork twice a month, fresh beef once a month.
Other produce usually available
Home cured & Dry cured Gammon and bacon.
Sausages including gluten free with minimal preservatives.
Venison, lamb, hogget, mutton and goat are seasonal.
Turkeys and Geese at Christmas.
We’re in the former N.T Gibbs butcher shop on Queens Street in the centre of Tideswell and we’re open most Fridays and every Saturday from 9am – 3pm (we’re on the farm the rest of the time!)
